ICCP "Creating a global presence for positive change." The International Camp Counselor Program (ICCP), present in more than 2,700 local communities, is operated by the International YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater New York. ICCP was established in 1959 as a cultural exchange program, and is recognized by the U.S. government as a J-1 visa sponsoring agency. ICCP works closely with a select team of recruiters in over 100 countries around the world to add an international component to all kinds of camps across the United States. Throughout the United States, the YMCA is the largest not-for-profit community service organization in America. It has a presence in over 130 countries. The YMCA's global reach enables it to act as an emissary for positive change around the world, offering camp programs that enrich thousands of young people every year.
