Regular Program

Description

Each year, ICCP works with local recruiters to carefully identify applicants from around the world to participate in the International Camp Counselor Program.  Applicants should be enthusiastic young people between 19 and 30 years of age with good English skills, strong leadership qualities, and who enjoy being with children to serve as counselors and staff at summer camps in the the U.S.

Once selected, participants undergo an orientation in their home countries to prepare them for their trips.

Upon their arrival in the United States, participants are greeted by the ICCP staff and volunteers.  Camp orientation and social activities are planned to ensure that the new participants have plenty of opportunities to make new friends, share cultural experiences, and travel confidently to camp.
