YMCA Work and Holiday Exchange

The International YMCA is pleased to
announce a new 12-month Work and Holiday Exchange Program in the U.S. for
Australian students. The goal of this program is to promote cultural exchange
and travel through encouraging young people from Australia
and the United States
to engage in mutual travel and international exchange.
This exciting new program provides
opportunities for current Australian university students and recent graduates
to experience working and living in the United States for up to 12 months
as J-1 Exchange Visitors.
Participants may either arrange their
own employment or request that the YMCA arrange employment at one of our many
contacts across the United
States. Job placements can range in length
from 3 to 12 months.
