Karla Osorio - Coordinator - Youth Exchanges
My name is Karla Osorio and I currently serve as Coordinator of Youth Exchanges. I’ve been a part of the YMCA family since 10th grade! I am the Y’s BIGGEST fan! Words cannot explain the life changing experiences I have had at the YMCA in my high school and college career. I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I am now in my junior year of college at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, studying an English major. I have always had an aspiration to attend law and I am currently working towards it. At International, I’m using my past experiences as a source to encourage others to join the phenomenal programs the YMCA has to offer. And now, as the Coordinator for Youth Exchanges, I am glad to announce I can be part of their overall experience. I hope to change, inspire and impact lives as I go. 
 

John A. Cruz - Director - Youth Exchanges

 

 John Cruz is Director for Youth Exchanges with the International YMCA.  Prior to his current role, John was a volunteer, part-time staff and Assistant Director. He also served as assistant to the President of Pace University. John has his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Pace University.  His Masters Degree is in Non-Profit Management from Pace University as well.  John has led three Global Teens trips and been involved with the International YMCA since 2007. He has had ten years experience dealing with leadership development while working for a number of charitable organizations such as ASPIRA of New York, Inc., Riverside Park Fund and Legion of Good Will, United States. John is an empowering, inspirational and visionary youth worker who will help provide an engaging environment for young people to grow, learn and become.
